Peace Summary:  I'd like to apply for a grant to continue my own work in the area of peace. I focus primarily on integrating cognitive psychology (how person's construct reality) with clinical psychology, and the psychology of spirituality. The three domains are, I believe, especially pertinent in considering constructive ways of instituting peaceful intra and international relations. A less-small but neatly condensed sum of the goals are: applying psychology in understanding the phenomenon of peace, conflict resolution with attention to the cognitive underpinnings, relationship with spirituality, and clinical implications.

Counseling Summary:A summary of our needs: Funds to sponsor a forum for the Vermont community including individuals citizens, teachers, students, institutions for psychological health (hospitals, etc.), and other centers of higher education. The objective of the forum is to offer a state-wide forum for discussing issues of psychological health and its implications for issues such as violence, juvenile justice, providing equity in education, eliminating discrimination by race, sex, religion, and other topics.
