Vermont Daily Briefing
An interpretation of the news that affects Vermonters; edited by Philip Baruth. The Vermont Daily Briefing has been in operation since September, 2005. It was voted “Best Vermont Blog” in 2006 by the readers of Seven Days, the state’s largest alternative weekly, and “Best Vermont Blog (Political)” again in 2007.

National Environmental Scorecard
The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) has published a National Environmental Scorecard every Congress since 1970, the year it was founded by leaders of the environmental movement following the first Earth Day. LCV is the political voice for more than nine million members of environmental and conservation organizations and the only organization working full-time to educate citizens about the environmental voting records of Members of Congress.

Thomas Legislative Information on the Internet
Acting under the directive of the leadership of the 104th Congress to make Federal legislative information freely available to the Internet public, a Library of Congress team brought the THOMAS World Wide Web system online in January 1995, at the inception of the 104th Congress. Searching capabilities in THOMAS were built on the InQuery information retrieval system, developed by the Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval based at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
